WELCOME TO THE LINEN LADDER

What we do We create simple, colourful designs which we print onto linen fabric. Our inspiration comes from where we live and from our travels and we aim to bring the natural world into your home adding freshness and colour to everyday life. What we believe in We firmly believe that only the best will do. With whatever you do, using the best quality materials available means you can create something purposeful, beautiful and lasting. About Sarah I grew up in the English countryside where we were always busy exploring, sailing boats, riding horses, reading or creating. One of my early ambitions was to learn French and after leaving school I headed to the Continent to work and travel. Some years later I returned to live in London and started work at Liberty of London. Liberty was a huge moment for me; I was immersed in tradition and discovered the real joy of texture, design, colour and style. I loved it. I discovered a passion for fabric that has remained with me ever since. My working life has always been in the creative industry; in advertising and events management with the added benefit of working at the Royal Academy of Arts which was a huge privilege and a tremendous source of inspiration. I have travelled all over the world from the remote Highlands of Scotland to India and Australia and sailed the South Pacific Ocean and consequently I can draw on a wealth of inspiration and colour.
